This week, we have a show full of juicy stories. First, we chat to our fintech reporter Amy O’Brien, to discuss the ongoing fallout from the collapse of crypto exchange FTX. We go through Starling Bank’s crypto ban and whether European tech is having a dotcom moment.

Then, we’re joined by Zosia Wanat dialling in from Warsaw, who’s been following the fallout from a controversial decision made at the tech conference Slush. A prestigious startup pitching award — with a prize of €1m — was given to a startup with Russian founders. It’s since been revoked. 

Lastly, we turn to the news that Elizabeth Holmes — founder of bogus blood testing startup Theranos — has been sentenced to 11 years in jail. We’re joined by Hamish Grierson, founder of at-home diagnostics startup Thriva, to discuss whether there’s still bad blood in diagnostics.
